HVAC Service Sales Representative | UTC Carrier | Tucson, AZ
Carrier Corporation, a subsidiary of United Technologies Corporation
(NYSE:UTX), currently has an opportunity for an experienced,
results-oriented Commercial HVAC Service Sales Representatives in the
Tucson, AZ area. Carrier is the world's largest solutions provider of
air conditioning, heating and refrigeration equipment for commercial,

The qualified candidate must be a high-energy, self-starter with a
strong work ethic. This individual will need to be motivated by a
competitive industry and be results, detail and team-oriented. The ideal
candidate will also be have the ability to work in a fast paced
environment and must possess excellent organizational skills. As a
Carrier Service Sales Representative, the candidate's role would be to
interface with customers and promote and develop new service and
maintenance opportunities as well as total retrofit solutions sales. The
selected candidate will primarily focus on selling all product lines and
services directly to owners and end users. Additional responsibilities
include:
- Selling commercial HVAC service products & solutions to new and
existing customers, including: repair service, modernizations, service
agreements and controls
- Respond to customer needs by identifying systems, products, generating
quotes, estimating and closing orders to meet agreed-upon sales goals
- Conduct customer visits and events as well as formal presentations and
training sessions with customer groups
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or
related field strongly preferred
- Minimum 5 years experience selling HVAC services
- Strong HVAC systems knowledge
- DDC control sales background strongly preferred
- PE preferred
- Solid problem solving and proven negotiating skills, high sense of
urgency, strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent PC skills
